2012-2022 - County government development: education, health, water, and road improvements. Real estate boom continues.

2020 - COVID-19 pandemic disrupts economy and services.

2022 - Presidential and county elections. Political competition intensifies.

2026 - Kiambu remains Kenya's Kikuyu heartland and a critical political county. Real estate development continues, though sustainability concerns grow.
