Kenya Boxing

Boxing in Kenya experienced a golden era during the 1980s and 1990s when Kenyan boxers achieved international success and held world titles in various weight classes. However, boxing's prominence has declined since the 2000s as investment and participation shifted toward athletics and other sports. Kenya's boxing heritage remains culturally significant but the sport no longer produces world-class competitors at historical rates.
